1. Welcome and acceptance
These Terms of Sale and Service (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of the website https://gloaialabs.com, the platform we operate at that domain (the “Platform“), and the diagnostic-coordination, ordering, logistics, report-access, and related services we make available through the Platform (collectively, the “Services“).
The Platform and Services are provided by Global AutoImmunity Awareness, a proprietorship registered in India, operating under the trade name GLOAIA Labs (referred to in these Terms as “GLOAIA Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our“). The proprietor is Mr. Hemant Dattu Nikalje.
By creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy, our Refund Policy, our Shipping Policy, our Healthcare Disclaimer, and our Cookie Policy.
2. Definitions
| Term | Meaning |
|---|---|
| “Account” | The user account you create on the Platform |
| “Buyer” | The person who places and pays for an order |
| “Patient” | The individual whose biological sample is collected and tested |
| “Guardian” | The parent or legal guardian of a minor Patient |
| “Practitioner” | A licensed healthcare professional who uses the Platform |
| “Laboratory Partner” | A clinical laboratory with which GLOAIA Labs holds a provider-portal or operational ordering relationship |

| “Consultation” | A practitioner-led discussion of a Report (a future feature) |
3. Platform role — our four service categories
3.1 Laboratory testing services
The actual testing of biological samples is performed by independent Laboratory Partners located in the United States and, over time, in other approved international jurisdictions. Each Laboratory Partner is responsible for their collection methodology, accessioning and processing of samples, accuracy and clinical content of Reports, and their own regulatory compliance.
GLOAIA Labs does not perform laboratory testing. GLOAIA Labs does not employ laboratory technicians, does not own or operate any clinical laboratory, and does not generate the Reports.
3.2 Logistics and courier services
Test Kits and biological samples are transported by independent third-party courier providers (FedEx, UPS, DHL). GLOAIA Labs coordinates with these providers but is not itself a courier or logistics company.
3.3 Practitioner consultations (future service category)
The Platform is being developed to offer practitioner consultations as an additional, separately bookable service. Consultations will be conducted by independent licensed practitioners — not employees of GLOAIA Labs.
3.3.1 Practitioner independence and liability. Any healthcare practitioner introduced, listed, referenced, recommended, matched, or otherwise made accessible through the Platform acts independently and exercises their own professional judgment. GLOAIA Labs does not supervise, direct, control, review, approve, or assume responsibility for any clinical decision, diagnosis, treatment recommendation, prescription, supplement recommendation, lifestyle recommendation, interpretation, or other professional service rendered by any practitioner.
Any professional services rendered by a practitioner are solely between the practitioner and the Patient. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GLOAIA Labs shall not be liable for any loss, injury, adverse outcome, professional-negligence claim, malpractice claim, or other harm arising from or in connection with any practitioner’s professional services, regardless of how the Patient and practitioner were connected.
Practitioner listings, profiles, ratings, matching suggestions, or referrals presented on the Platform are provided for informational and convenience purposes only and do not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, certification, or warranty of any practitioner’s competence, suitability, clinical judgment, or fitness for any particular purpose.
3.3.2 Practitioner ecosystem services. Practitioner educational resources, protocol libraries, AI-assisted tools, clinical research references, educational content, practitioner-support features, and future practitioner-ecosystem services made available through the Platform are intended solely to support practitioner education and workflow efficiency and do not replace independent professional judgment. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GLOAIA Labs shall not be liable for any loss, injury, adverse outcome, or other harm arising from a practitioner’s reliance on or use of such educational and workflow-support features.
3.4 Platform and software services
GLOAIA Labs provides the Platform itself — the website, account system, ordering flow, report-access interface, customer support workflow, and supporting software. GLOAIA Labs is responsible for the operation, maintenance, security, and continued development of the Platform itself.
This distinction matters. A delay, error, or limitation that originates with a Laboratory Partner, a courier, or a practitioner is governed by that entity’s policies, not by ours. GLOAIA Labs undertakes to act reasonably in coordinating with those parties on your behalf where appropriate.
4. Eligibility
To use the Platform and place orders, you must be at least 18 years of age and of sound mind, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and use the Platform for lawful purposes.
For pediatric (under-18) Patients, the order must be placed by a parent or legal Guardian.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a chronic illness, currently being treated for an acute medical condition, or otherwise in a clinical situation that warrants professional oversight, you should consult your healthcare provider before ordering a test.
5. The Platform is not emergency medicine
The Platform is intended for informational, educational, and practitioner-guided use. The Platform does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or recommendations for medication. The Platform is not intended for emergency, urgent, or acute medical situations.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number. Further important medical-context terms appear in our Healthcare Disclaimer.
6. Your Account
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information; keep your account credentials confidential; take reasonable steps to safeguard your device(s) and inbox; and notify us promptly at security@gloaialabs.com (or support@gloaialabs.com if security@ is unavailable) if you suspect unauthorized access.
7. Ordering process
7.1 How an order is placed
When you place an order, you select tests, provide patient information, provide shipping/billing addresses, and make payment in full at the time of placing the order. The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email.
7.2 Eligibility and laboratory acceptance
Acceptance of an order is subject to:
- Verification that the selected test is available for your country of residence and operationally feasible for shipment to the specific destination address you provide
- Any practitioner sign-off requirements imposed by the Laboratory Partner. Where practitioner authorization is required, patients may work with their own licensed healthcare practitioner (where permitted by the relevant Laboratory Partner), choose a practitioner from the GLOAIA Labs practitioner network, or contact us for assistance in identifying a suitable practitioner. Applicable practitioner fees, if any, will be communicated before charging.
- Any country-specific export, import, or biological-sample restrictions
Shipping-feasibility review for international orders. Certain international jurisdictions may remain subject to shipping-feasibility review prior to final order fulfillment. Acceptance of an order from these jurisdictions may therefore remain conditional upon confirmation of shipping feasibility, laboratory servicing availability, customs requirements, and courier-network support for the destination country. Operational guidance is set out in our Shipping Policy §3.4.
If an order cannot be accepted, we will notify you and process a full refund per our Refund Policy.
7.3 Order modifications
- Address changes — contact support@gloaialabs.com before Kit dispatch. We cannot reroute Kits in transit
- Test changes — typically not possible after acceptance by the Laboratory Partner
- Order cancellations — governed by our Refund Policy
8. Pricing, currency, and invoicing
8.1 Pricing
Prices are displayed in the currency selected by you using an internal foreign-exchange engine. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you place the order and pay.
8.2 Taxes and duties
GST and other applicable Indian taxes are charged as required by law. Customs duties, import taxes, and local handling charges for outbound shipments are your responsibility. See our Shipping Policy.
8.3 Invoicing
We issue an invoice for every accepted order. If you require a modified invoice for employer reimbursement, please contact support@gloaialabs.com.
8.4 Accepted payment methods
Cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay, AmEx, Diners), UPI and wallets (Google Pay, PhonePe, BHIM, Apple Pay), net banking, EMI, auto-debit (UPI Autopay, eNACH, Paper NACH), international bank transfers, and HSA/FSA cards (US patients only).
Indian transactions are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified). We do not see, store, or transmit your full card number, CVV, or banking credentials.
8.5 Insurance, HSA / FSA, and reimbursement
GLOAIA Labs operates on a cash-pay basis. We are not contracted with any insurance company, we do not submit insurance claims on your behalf, and we do not issue superbills or insurance claim forms.
- United States — Tests cannot be retroactively submitted to insurance for reimbursement through us. Many HSA and FSA cards are processed as standard debit or credit cards. Final approval is determined by your HSA/FSA provider.
- India — International specialty tests are generally not covered by Indian health insurance.
- Singapore, UAE, UK, Europe, and other supported countries — We can provide itemized invoices on request.
9. Shipping and delivery
Shipping arrangements, timelines, customs handling, and patient responsibilities are described in our Shipping Policy. Please read it before placing an order — particularly if you are ordering from outside the United States.
10. Refunds and cancellations
Refund eligibility, cancellation windows, and replacement-kit logic are described in our Refund Policy. Key points: refunds are generally available before Kit dispatch, generally not available after Kit dispatch, and not available after sample accessioning by the Laboratory Partner.
11. Sample handling responsibilities
You are responsible for reading and following the Kit instructions, collecting the sample correctly and within timing windows, storing the sample as instructed, shipping promptly via the recommended courier, and ensuring the sample reaches the Laboratory Partner within the validity window.
11.1 Patient responsibility for local-jurisdiction import permission
You are responsible for ensuring that importation of diagnostic collection kits into your jurisdiction is permitted under local law at the time you place an order.
11.2 Regulatory variability outside our control
You acknowledge that the operational availability and regulatory feasibility of cross-border diagnostic testing depends on factors outside GLOAIA Labs’ control. When such conditions affect an in-progress order, we will communicate transparently and apply our Refund Policy in good faith.
12. Reports and interpretation
A Report is a laboratory-generated data document. It is not a diagnosis. Reports should be reviewed with a qualified healthcare practitioner.
13. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful purpose; attempt to access another user’s Account; interfere with the operation of the Platform; harass any person; reproduce or republish Platform content without consent; circumvent applicable export controls; or provide false information.
14. Intellectual property
All content displayed on the Platform — including text, images, logos, the GLOAIA Labs brand, product descriptions, the design of the Platform, our biomarker-information content, and the underlying software — is owned by or licensed to GLOAIA Labs and is protected by Indian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.
15. Third-party links, partners, and integrations
The Platform may contain links to, or integrate with, third-party websites and services. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of third parties.
16. Disclaimers and limitations of liability
16.1 Service warranties
The Platform and the Services are provided on an “as available” basis. We make reasonable efforts to keep the Platform secure, accurate, and operational.
16.2 Outcome-related disclaimers
We do not guarantee the diagnosis, treatment, prevention, or cure of any condition; the clinical accuracy of any specific biomarker interpretation; the continued availability of any specific Laboratory Partner or test; or the timeliness of any specific shipment, customs clearance, or report delivery.
16.3 Cap on liability
Subject to applicable mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have, our maximum aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Services is limited to the amount you actually paid GLOAIA Labs for the order(s) that gave rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GLOAIA Labs from any third-party claim arising out of your breach of these Terms, false information, violation of applicable law, or misuse of Reports.
18. Termination
You may close your Account at any time by contacting support@gloaialabs.com. We may suspend or terminate your Account where you materially breach these Terms, where required by law, or where you engage in fraud, abuse, or repeated chargebacks.
19. Force majeure
We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use after a material update means you accept the updated Terms.
21. Governing law, jurisdiction, and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. If a dispute arises, please contact us first at support@gloaialabs.com. Disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, India, without prejudice to any non-waivable consumer rights.

23. Forward-looking architecture note
These Terms are designed to remain stable as we add planned future services including practitioner dashboards, API integrations with Laboratory Partners, expanded patient portals, biomarker analytics, interpretation tools, AI-assisted educational workflows, and longitudinal health-tracking features.
23.1 Future Educational Features — Disclaimer and Scope. Any AI-assisted summaries, educational insights, trend analyses, biomarker interpretations, report explanations, predictive analytics, PubMed-anchored evidence addendums, or other interpretation tools made available through the Platform are provided solely for educational, informational, and decision-support purposes. Every output is grounded in our deterministic clinical rule engine.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GLOAIA Labs shall not be liable for any loss arising from a Patient’s or practitioner’s reliance on educational analytics, interpretation tools, AI-assisted summaries, PubMed-anchored references, or other informational features.
24. Customs, export, and shipping indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GLOAIA Labs from any customs penalties, import or export violations, shipment seizures, biological-material handling penalties, documentation-inaccuracy fines, regulatory actions, courier-imposed surcharges, or other liabilities arising from inaccurate information you provide, failure to obtain country-specific export/import permissions, failure to follow shipping or sample-handling instructions, or any breach of applicable export-control, customs, or sanctions regulations attributable to your action or inaction.
25. Sanctions, restricted countries, and trade compliance
GLOAIA Labs does not provide Services in jurisdictions subject to applicable trade sanctions, comprehensive export-control restrictions, or in countries where shipment of diagnostic collection kits or biological samples is prohibited.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are not located in a country subject to comprehensive trade sanctions administered by OFAC, the EU, the UK, the UN, or other applicable sanctions regimes; you are not on any applicable sanctions or restricted-party list; and your country of residence and destination address are not subject to any applicable restriction.
GLOAIA Labs reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order where compliance with these requirements cannot be reasonably established.
