Cookie Policy

1. What this Policy explains

This Cookie Policy describes how GLOAIA Labs uses cookies and similar technologies on https://gloaialabs.com. We have tried to write this in plain language because we think you should be able to read a cookie policy in five minutes and actually understand what is and isn’t happening with your data.

This Cookie Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy. If at any point this Policy is unclear, please contact privacy@gloaialabs.com.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. In this Policy, when we say “cookies” we mean both HTTP cookies and similar technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and session tokens.

Cookies can be first-party, third-party, session, or persistent.

3. What we use cookies for

3.1 Strictly necessary — authentication, session, and security

These cookies are essential to the operation of the platform. Without them, you would not be able to sign in, place an order, or maintain a secure checkout session.

These cookies are operational necessities — they do not track you for marketing, do not build a behavioural profile, and are not shared with any third party for marketing purposes.

3.2 Functional — preferences and convenience

3.3 Limited analytics — privacy-respecting

We use a small amount of analytics data to understand how the platform is used in aggregate so we can fix bugs, improve performance, and identify pages that confuse users.

4. What we do not use cookies for

To be explicit, we do not:

5. Cookies set by third-party services we integrate with

Third party Where their cookies / domain appear Purpose
Razorpay (payment processor) Razorpay payment page or embedded checkout iframe Secure card / UPI / net-banking / wallet payment processing; fraud prevention; PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance
Wordfence (WordPress security plugin) On our site, server-side and (in some cases) browser-side Security monitoring, brute-force protection, IP-based suspicious-activity detection, firewall functionality

We do not — and we will not — embed third-party services on our pages without listing them here.

6. Cookie inventory

The current inventory of cookies set by GLOAIA Labs and by the third-party services listed in §5 will be published here following our CookieAdmin plugin scan immediately prior to inventory publication.

7. How to manage cookies

7.1 Through the consent banner

When you first visit gloaialabs.com you will see a cookie-consent banner. You can accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customise your preferences in detail. You can revisit your choices at any time by clicking the cookie-preferences link in the footer.

7.2 Through your browser settings

All major browsers let you view, delete, or block cookies. Useful links: Chrome: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647 · Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox · Safari: https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471 · Edge: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/

7.3 By writing to us

If your browser is configured in an unusual way and you cannot exercise control through the banner or your browser settings, write to privacy@gloaialabs.com and we will help.

7.4 Withdrawal of cookie consent

The DPDP Act 2023 and DPDP Rules 2025 (Rule 3), the EU/UK GDPR, and the ePrivacy Directive all share a common principle: the withdrawal of cookie consent must be as easy as the act of giving it.

You may change or withdraw your cookie preferences at any time by re-opening the cookie-consent banner from the cookie-preferences link in the footer of any page, adjusting individual cookie categories through your browser settings, or writing to privacy@gloaialabs.com.

Withdrawal of consent will stop the setting of new non-essential cookies from that point forward. Cookies already set on your device will remain there until they expire naturally or you clear them through your browser. Withdrawal does not affect the strictly-necessary cookies described in §3.1.

8. Mobile devices and platform-specific behaviour

If you use our platform through a mobile device, the cookies described above behave the same way they do on desktop browsers. We do not currently operate a native mobile application.

9. International notes

9.1 For users in India

We treat cookie-based collection of personal data on the basis of consent (as defined under the DPDP Act 2023) for non-strictly-necessary cookies.

9.2 For users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom

We comply with the ePrivacy Directive and the GDPR. Strictly-necessary cookies do not require prior consent. All other cookies are set only after we obtain your consent through the cookie-consent banner. You can withdraw consent at any time.

9.3 For users in the United States

We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as defined under the CCPA / CPRA, because we do not use your data for cross-context behavioural advertising.

9.4 For users in other jurisdictions

Cookie law varies. Our default posture is the more protective: we ask for your consent for non-essential cookies regardless of whether your country specifically requires it.

10. Updates to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we make a material change, the “Last Updated” date is revised, the cookie inventory in §6 is refreshed, and where appropriate the cookie-consent banner is re-triggered.
