The dual-matrix OMX™ panel combines urine and plasma organic acid/metabolite analysis for the most comprehensive metabolic assessment available. Running both matrices simultaneously captures metabolites that appear preferentially in each — urine reflects renal clearance and gut microbial by-products, while plasma captures circulating metabolites that don’t fully appear in urine — providing a uniquely complete picture of cellular metabolism.

What the Dual-Matrix Adds:

• Urine markers: All standard OMX urine metabolites — mitochondrial intermediates, B vitamin functional markers, neurotransmitter metabolites, gut dysbiosis markers, detox markers
• Plasma-specific additions: Amino acid metabolites (branched-chain AAs, methionine cycle), essential fatty acid status markers, inflammatory metabolites (prostaglandin precursors), methylation markers (SAM/SAH precursors), systemic oxidative stress markers not excreted in urine
