Important — please read before placing an order
GLOAIA Labs is a diagnostic coordination and laboratory ordering facilitation platform. We help you access specialty laboratory tests offered by accredited specialty diagnostic laboratories located in the United States and, over time, other selected international jurisdictions — and, in the future, to coordinate with licensed practitioners who can help you interpret the results.
We are not a clinical laboratory, a hospital, a clinic, a medical practice, a pharmacy, an emergency service, or a health insurance company.
The information available on our website, in our test catalogue pages, in our educational content, and in the laboratory reports we make accessible through your account is intended for educational, informational, and practitioner-guided use only. It is not a substitute for the advice, diagnosis, or treatment of a licensed healthcare professional.
1. We do not provide medical care
GLOAIA Labs does not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, prescriptions or recommendations for medication, therapy plans, supplement protocols, lifestyle programs, emergency medical care or urgent medical advice, or any service that would constitute the practice of medicine in your jurisdiction.
The arrangement you have with GLOAIA Labs is a service-provision arrangement for diagnostic coordination, ordering, logistics, and report-access — not a clinical care relationship. Nothing on our platform creates a doctor-patient relationship with GLOAIA Labs.
2. Not for emergency, urgent, or acute medical situations
Our platform is not designed for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency:
- India: Call 112 (national emergency number), 102 (ambulance)
- United States: Call 911
- United Kingdom: Call 999 (or 111 for non-emergency NHS advice)
- European Union: Call 112
- United Arab Emirates: Call 999 or 998 (ambulance)
- Australia: Call 000
- Singapore: Call 995
- Canada: Call 911
- Japan: Call 119
- Elsewhere — use your country’s emergency-services number
Do not wait for a test result, do not wait for a scheduled consultation, and do not use our platform’s customer-support channels as a route to emergency care.
3. Reports are laboratory data, not diagnoses
When a test is processed by one of our Laboratory Partners, the Laboratory Partner produces a report — a document containing biomarker measurements, reference ranges, and (in some cases) interpretive notes prepared by the laboratory.
A report is not a clinical diagnosis, a medical opinion about your individual condition, a treatment recommendation, a substitute for examination by a qualified healthcare provider, or a predictor of disease, longevity, or response to any specific treatment.
4. Practitioner interpretation is essential
Specialty diagnostic tests of the kind we coordinate are designed to be reviewed and interpreted in the context of your full health picture — including your medical history, current symptoms, current medications, lifestyle factors, family history, and any other relevant information that only a healthcare provider who knows you can integrate.
Practitioners — whether your own provider or one in our network — exercise their own professional judgement in interpreting reports.
4.1 Independent Practitioner Responsibility
Any healthcare practitioner introduced, listed, referenced, or made accessible through the GLOAIA Labs platform acts independently and exercises their own professional judgment.
GLOAIA Labs does not control, supervise, direct, or determine the clinical decisions, diagnoses, treatment recommendations, prescriptions, supplement protocols, lifestyle recommendations, or other professional services rendered by any practitioner.
Patients remain solely responsible for conducting their own evaluation and due diligence before choosing to engage any practitioner — including verification of credentials, scope of practice, jurisdictional licensing, and personal compatibility.
Any clinical advice, treatment plan, interpretation, recommendation, prescription, or professional opinion provided by a practitioner is solely the responsibility of that practitioner. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GLOAIA Labs shall not be liable for any loss, injury, adverse event, treatment outcome, professional negligence claim, malpractice claim, omission, mis-statement, mis-interpretation, or other harm arising from or in connection with any practitioner’s professional services.
Practitioner listings (where present on our platform) are provided for informational and convenience purposes only and do not constitute an endorsement, guarantee, certification, or warranty of any practitioner’s competence, suitability, or clinical judgment by GLOAIA Labs.
Patients remain free to work with their own licensed healthcare practitioner and are not required to use practitioners introduced through the GLOAIA Labs platform.
Different practitioners may reasonably interpret the same laboratory findings differently based on their training, clinical philosophy, experience, scope of practice, and professional judgement. Where two or more practitioners offer differing interpretations of the same report, the choice of which interpretation to follow rests with the patient in consultation with the practitioner(s) of their choosing. GLOAIA Labs does not arbitrate between competing professional opinions and does not represent any single interpretation as the definitively correct one.
5. No guaranteed health outcomes
We make no representation, warranty, or guarantee that a test will identify the cause of any symptom, that a report will be clinically actionable, that following any practitioner’s recommendations will lead to improvement in your health, that repeating a test will reveal any specific trend, that any particular biomarker is the right test for your specific situation, or that any specific lifestyle change, supplement, dietary modification, or therapy will produce a specific outcome.
Functional and integrative medicine is a clinical discipline with active areas of research, ongoing methodology refinement, and significant inter-laboratory variation.
6. Not a regulated medical device or pharmaceutical product
The platform itself is not a medical device. The tests we coordinate are laboratory developed tests (LDTs) offered by accredited US laboratories. We make no claim that any test offered through our platform has been approved or cleared by the FDA, CDSCO, EMA, MHRA, Health Canada, or any other regulatory authority as a diagnostic device for any specific clinical indication.
Laboratory accreditations such as CLIA, CAP, and ISO 15189 certify the laboratory’s analytical performance — they do not constitute medical-device approval of the specific tests as diagnostic instruments.
7. Use of biomarker information for educational purposes
Our test catalogue pages, our educational content, and our future biomarker-information features describe what a biomarker is, what population-level patterns the biomarker has historically been associated with, and how practitioners in the functional and integrative medicine community typically think about that biomarker.
This information is provided to help you make a more informed decision about which tests to consider. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a substitute for clinical examination.
8. Eligibility — adults only, with limited pediatric exceptions
Our platform is intended for use by adults 18 years of age or older. For pediatric (under-18) Patients, an order must be placed by the minor’s parent or legal guardian. A pediatric or family-medicine practitioner should be involved.
9. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, and pre-existing conditions
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, currently receiving treatment for a known medical condition, taking prescription medications, or managing a chronic illness, we encourage you to consult your healthcare provider before ordering a test or before making health decisions based on test results.
Some tests may be contraindicated during pregnancy or lactation, may require timing relative to a menstrual cycle or treatment course, may produce values influenced by medications, supplements, recent therapies, dietary interventions, or other health-related changes, or may not be clinically useful or appropriate in your specific circumstances.
Patients may consult their existing healthcare provider or another qualified healthcare practitioner of their choosing regarding whether a particular test is appropriate for their circumstances.
Your healthcare provider is best positioned to advise on whether and when a specific test may be appropriate for you. We do not perform individualized medical screening, suitability assessments, or clinical appropriateness determinations on your behalf.
10. Cross-border and regulatory realities
Because our service involves shipping diagnostic test kits and biological samples across international borders, the operational availability and regulatory feasibility of testing depends on factors outside GLOAIA Labs’ control, including biological-sample export/import regulations, customs treatment, courier restrictions, laboratory-shipping feasibility, import classification changes, public-health restrictions, and geopolitical events.
These conditions can change unexpectedly. When such conditions affect an in-progress order, we will communicate with you transparently, work to identify the most reasonable resolution, and apply our Refund Policy in good faith.
Import/export regulations governing biological samples, diagnostic collection kits, and health-related materials may change without prior notice based on local law, customs policy, courier policy, public-health rules, sanctions regimes, or geopolitical conditions. Patients are responsible for verifying current requirements applicable in their jurisdiction before ordering and before arranging return shipment.
11. Patient responsibility — local-jurisdiction import permission
Patients ordering from countries outside GLOAIA Labs’ standard supported-country list should contact support@gloaialabs.com before placing an order.
Our team will perform an initial feasibility review and may request that the patient obtain guidance from their local FedEx customer support team regarding country-specific requirements for shipping biological samples to the United States.
By placing an order from a particular country, you confirm — to the best of your knowledge and belief — that importing the type of diagnostic collection kit you are ordering is permitted under your country’s laws, exporting the type of biological sample contemplated by the test is permitted, and you will arrange any documentation that your courier or local authorities may require.
We do not, however, assume responsibility for the regulatory feasibility of the order in your country. Regulatory requirements vary between jurisdictions. While GLOAIA Labs provides operational guidance and coordination support, patients may need to obtain country-specific shipping guidance from FedEx customer support in their country (or the equivalent courier handling their shipment). We assist in coordinating the process, but we cannot determine or guarantee the legal status of biological-sample importation under your country’s laws.

17. Future educational analytics, interpretation tools, and AI-assisted features
GLOAIA Labs is progressively developing additional capabilities including biomarker trend visualizations, longitudinal health timelines, educational insights and rule-based flagging, AI-assisted report summaries, personalized educational recommendations, and PubMed-anchored evidence addendums.
These features — current and future — are provided solely for educational, informational, and decision-support purposes. They are not intended to constitute a medical diagnosis, a clinical recommendation, prescription, treatment plan, endorsement of any specific treatment, a replacement for professional medical evaluation, or a guarantee of any specific outcome.
Every output produced by analytics, rules, or AI-assisted features on the platform is grounded in our deterministic clinical rule engine and is intended to surface educational patterns — not to render clinical judgment. Final clinical judgment, diagnosis, and treatment decisions always rest with the qualified healthcare practitioner working with the patient.
AI outputs and educational analytics should always be reviewed alongside the original laboratory report and appropriate professional judgement. They are intended to surface patterns and provide decision-support; they are not intended to replace the underlying laboratory data, the practitioner’s own reading of that data, or the clinical context that only a healthcare provider familiar with the patient can integrate.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GLOAIA Labs shall not be liable for any loss, injury, adverse outcome, or other harm arising from a patient’s or practitioner’s reliance on educational analytics, interpretation tools, AI-assisted summaries, PubMed-anchored references, or other informational features offered through the platform.
