International laboratory access and operational coordination — so you can focus on clinical care.
If you are a functional medicine practitioner, integrative physician, naturopath, chiropractor, nutritionist, or other licensed healthcare provider — whether in the US, Europe, Australia, India, or anywhere else — GLOAIA Labs is built to support your practice.
We are a coordination platform, not a competing clinic. You retain full clinical authority and direct patient relationships. We handle the operational layer so you can spend your time on clinical work, not on customs paperwork.
The complete practitioner workflow we are building
Most diagnostic platforms stop at “order a test, get a report.” We are building something more comprehensive — an integrated workflow that supports the full patient journey from intake to follow-up. Here is how the GLOAIA Labs practitioner experience is designed to function as the platform matures:
Patient Intake & Assessment
Your patient completes a structured assessment through the platform — symptom inventory, family history, lifestyle triggers, current medications and supplements, prior testing history, and clinical goals. The assessment is designed to capture the kind of detail that functional medicine practitioners actually need to make informed decisions, not just demographic data.
AI-Assisted Test Suggestion
Based on the assessment, our platform surfaces test recommendations relevant to the patient’s specific symptom profile and clinical history. The AI does not select tests — it suggests them based on patterns in the data the patient and practitioner have provided. Every suggestion is reviewable, override-able, and grounded in our deterministic clinical rule engine — no black-box test recommendations.
Practitioner Review & Approval
You review the AI-surfaced test suggestions, modify or override them based on your clinical judgment, and approve the final test panel for the patient. For practitioner-led workflows, test selection remains subject to practitioner review and approval. Certain Laboratory Partners may also support direct-order workflows where permitted, and for patients ordering directly the platform clearly indicates which tests typically benefit from practitioner consultation.
GLOAIA Labs Handles Operational Logistics
Once tests are approved and ordered, we coordinate everything: kit dispatch from the relevant Laboratory Partner, customs documentation, courier coordination, sample-return logistics, country-specific compliance, and report retrieval. You and the patient never have to think about cross-border shipping logistics.
Report Arrival + Evidence Integration
When the Laboratory Partner releases the report, it appears in both your practitioner dashboard and the patient’s portal. Reports are presented with:
- Interactive visualizations (charts, color-coded flags, biomarker trend lines)
- Plain-language explanations of every marker for patient comprehension
- Historical comparisons (year-over-year deltas, longitudinal context)
- PubMed-anchored evidence addendums (in development) — optional addendums that surface peer-reviewed clinical literature relevant to the patient’s specific findings
Practitioner Review & Clinical Decisions
You review the report in your dashboard, document your clinical observations and recommendations, schedule a consultation with the patient if needed, and update the patient’s case file. AI-assisted report summaries (in development) can surface notable patterns to review, but all clinical decisions remain entirely yours.
Protocol Library Access In Design
Over time, GLOAIA Labs is building a structured protocol-sharing library — inspired by the work of Dr. Dan Kalish of The Kalish Institute, who has trained over 10,000 functional medicine practitioners. Practitioners who contribute protocols receive recognition and a transparent royalty arrangement when their protocols are accessed by peers across the network. You can access protocols from peers worldwide, study what is working in similar patient profiles, and contribute your own learnings to the community.
Supplement & Therapeutics Access Forthcoming
A separate forthcoming GLOAIA (Global AutoImmunity Awareness) platform at gloaia.com will support international ordering of practitioner-recommended supplements (herbal, dietary, nutraceutical). This closes the loop between diagnosis, recommendation, and patient access — without you having to maintain separate supplier relationships across multiple countries. Will be announced separately when operationally ready.
A practical note on timelines: software roadmaps shift. The stages above represent our active development priorities and architectural plans, not committed delivery dates. We will announce features to registered practitioners as they go live.
Continuous practitioner education
Beyond logistics and clinical workflow, GLOAIA Labs is being built as a platform for ongoing practitioner learning. Registered practitioners will gain access to:
Laboratory partner education programs
Webinars and clinical-training resources hosted directly by our partner laboratories (Precision Analytical / DUTCH, Diagnostic Solutions, Genova, Cyrex, Doctor’s Data, Alletess, and others) covering biomarker interpretation, new test methodologies, and emerging clinical protocols.
Peer-learning opportunities
Clinical discussions and protocol reviews contributed by experienced practitioners across the network.
Specialized continuing-education resources
Coursework and educational materials from internationally recognized educators in functional medicine, biomarker interpretation, autoimmunity, methylation, hormonal health, and chronic-condition management.
Emerging clinical frameworks
Updates on research-grade developments in functional and integrative diagnostics.
Our goal is to help practitioners continuously expand their knowledge, stay current with evolving research, and integrate the latest evidence-based protocols into their practice. The practitioner education layer is a core part of our long-term vision — not a marketing add-on.
What we offer your practice
🔬 Lab partnerships you already use
We work with six leading US functional medicine Laboratory Partners — the same labs that already power your practice:
Precision Analytical
DUTCH hormone testing
Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory
GI-MAP and gastrointestinal testing
Genova Diagnostics
Functional and integrative medicine testing
Cyrex Laboratories
Autoimmunity and food-reactivity testing
Doctor’s Data
Toxicology, nutrition, and metabolic testing
Alletess Medical Laboratory
Food allergy and food sensitivity testing
We are actively expanding into additional US, European, and Australian laboratory partnerships. If a laboratory you specifically work with is not yet on our network, please write to us at practitioners@gloaialabs.com — we prioritize labs requested by active practitioners.
🌍 International patient reach with operational fulfillment
Your patients abroad can now access the same diagnostic panels you use in your home market — without you taking on the operational burden of cross-border shipping, customs documentation, courier coordination, or sample-return logistics.
We currently coordinate diagnostic testing for patients across ten supported countries: India, United States, Singapore, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Ireland, and the Netherlands. Operational details by country are documented in our How It Works page and FAQ.
💼 Hybrid access model — supporting both workflows
GLOAIA Labs supports two distinct workflows. You decide which fits your practice. We support both.
Patient-direct ordering
Patients can order tests themselves. For tests that require practitioner authorization (some Laboratory Partners require this), patients may work with their own licensed practitioner (where permitted), choose a practitioner from the GLOAIA Labs network, or request assistance identifying a suitable practitioner.
Practitioner-led ordering
You order on behalf of your patients, receive results in your practitioner dashboard (rolling out), and coordinate follow-up consultations through your existing patient relationship.
Recognition for early-cohort practitioners
Practitioners who join us during this early phase of our public platform launch will receive preferred platform pricing for the lifetime of their practice with us — recognizing the trust they place in our infrastructure during its formative years.
Specific pricing tiers and the cutoff for early-cohort recognition will be communicated directly to onboarding practitioners. To enquire about early-cohort eligibility, please write to practitioners@gloaialabs.com.
Patient referrals work both ways
Many functional medicine practitioners have patients abroad who would benefit from access to specialized US diagnostic testing but currently have no operational pathway to receive it. By onboarding with GLOAIA Labs, you gain:
Coordinated international infrastructure
For your existing international patient base.
International practice expansion pathway
Expand your practice internationally without taking on operational complexity.
Discoverability via practitioner matching
When patients use our practitioner-matching feature, you can be visible to relevant patients in your supported geographies.
Direct lab relationships preserved
You keep your existing lab relationships; we add infrastructure where it’s missing.
How to get started
If you want to onboard with GLOAIA Labs
- Email practitioners@gloaialabs.com with a brief introduction to your practice — specialty, current lab partners, primary patient geographies, and any specific operational needs
- We will respond within 2-3 business days with onboarding details and (if relevant) early-cohort recognition information
- Once onboarded, you receive practitioner-account access, lab-coordination support, and direct contact with our operations team
If you have a specific lab you want us to integrate
Email practitioners@gloaialabs.com with the laboratory name and a brief description of your use case. We prioritize labs requested by active practitioners and will share our outreach and onboarding plan with you.
If you want to discuss a custom workflow
Cross-border functional medicine practice has nuance. If your practice has specific operational needs (multi-region patient base, language support, custom reporting formats, integrated EHR considerations, etc.), please reach out — we have built our platform to be flexible and we want to understand your workflow before onboarding.
What we ask of you
GLOAIA Labs trusts the practitioners we onboard. In return, we ask that you:
- Maintain your appropriate jurisdictional license and credentialing for the patients you serve
- Recognize that GLOAIA Labs is a coordination platform, not a co-clinical entity — clinical decisions remain entirely yours
- Operate within the framework of our Terms and Healthcare Disclaimer, particularly the educational/coordinational scoping of our role
- Engage transparently with us if operational issues arise so we can resolve them quickly
